More changes for Guns N Roses
More changes for GUNS N' ROSES. Drummer JOSH FREESE has departed and will now tour with TOOL's MAYNARD JAMES KEENAN in PERFECT CIRCLE, on whose debut album (due out May 23) he appears. Also, guitarist BUCKETHEAD has joined AXL ROSE in the studio, but it isn't yet known whether he will be permanently filling the void left when ROBIN FINCK exited to rejoin NINE INCH NAILS last August.
DOORS guitarist Robby Krieger joined STONE TEMPLE PILOTS during their secret KROQ House Of Blues Show last night (3/15/00) on the Door's classic "Break On Through." Weiland chatted with Lonn Friend of knac.com backstage and revealed that Krieger and the band would be recording the song for an upcoming Doors tribute album to be released on Elektra Records. To warm up for the sessions, Krieger will be joining the band on stage tonight for a rendition of the scorchin' track! Weiland was in great spirits and good health and talked about being clean and sober, back in the band, and hitting the road again.
