Kotzen now available in US

RICHIE KOTZEN will finally be heard on United States soil. Spitfire Records has signed Richie (who is currently on tour with Mr. Big), and has agreed to release his entire catalog in the United States. See www.richiekotzen.com for more details. POISON's new Power to the People CD will be released via their own Cyanide Music label on June 13, the same day their tour with CINDERELLA, DOKKEN, and SLAUGHTER begins in Hershey, Pennsylvania. "Power to the People is dedicated to the fans who truly carry the ultimate power to allow my fantasy to be my reality," says BRET MICHAELS, who promises that the live show "will be a spectacular event. As a critic once said, 'Poison is the SEX PISTOLS meets KISS on acid.'" ATELLO is in Virtual Tunes (www.virtualtunes.com) Top 10 for the second week in a row. Check out their website, www.ATELLO.com for more info. To read the most recent review of "The Big Payoff", check out www.rockreunion.de. Go to the reviews link & then click on "Self Releases". They were also reviewed in New Zeland, so click on http://www.heartoftherock.com/17spotl.htm to check it out. Also, remember that they are playing L'amour on Saturday night with Mike Tramp...Tickets are available through the band. SAMMY HAGAR has a new album in the works, which may be called Ten Thirteen, referring to the date of his birth, October 13--and the possible (approximate) release date for the disc. Hagar will perform on May 2, 4 and 6 at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with his band the Waboritas in honor of the Cinco de Mayo holiday. LIMP BIZKIT found the time recently to shoot a video for "Take A Look Around," the theme song to the upcoming "Mission: Impossible 2." Limp frontman Fred Durst had hoped to land "M:I2" star Tom Cruise for the video, but few things about the video shoot went as planned. I hated it, plus it's only for Europe," Durst said, noting that "Take A Look Around" will not be released in the U.S. as a single. "You'll probably find a way to get it." (*ahem*...Napster, we're looking in YOUR direction)... Speaking about his planned pairing with Cruise, Durst said, "Tom Cruise couldn't be in it. I talked to him personally. So Wes [Borland, guitarist] brought up the idea then to get a Tom Cruise lookalike, which I think, that would be the way to do it." Add another sneak BON JOVI show to the appearances mentioned in the previous news report: the band will play another club gig, at The Tradewinds in Sea Bright, New Jersey, on April 27. Tickets, $25 each, go on sale today at 9 AM ET via Ticketmaster. Up to 150 Backstage with JON BON JOVI fan club members will be able to buy tickets at the venue box office with membership ID, cash only. METALLICA may reteam with S&M cohort MICHAEL KAMEN, who is scoring the soundtrack to the upcoming movie The X-Men. Metallica, already on MI: 2 via "I Disappear," may contribute a song to the X-Men project. Gentlemen, Gentlemen, Gentlemen, there is something called "overexposure"... pretty soon, you'll be meeting the classic definition of that term.
