Dupree seeks feet!

JESSE JAMES DUPREE, whose new album is Foot Fetish, looking for a few good--and bad--feet. If you've got sexy tootsies, or really gnarly ones, you can take a picture of 'em and send them in for either the Sexiest Feet or Gnarliest Feet category. Snapshots can be mailed to Foot Fetish, 8900 Olympic Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90211 or e-mailed in JPEG format to info@luckmedia.com by July 15, 2000. Finalists in both categories will be posted in the Jesse James Dupree section at the secret Web location that can only be accessed through the enhanced CD-ROM feature of Foot Fetish. Dupree and his band will pick the two winners, who will each receive a roundtrip ticket to London. The contest is open to residents of the continental United States. MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee was arrested in Denver early Friday morning after he and two members of the band's entourage caused a commotion at a hotel, during which they apparently tried to break down the door to a room that wasn't theirs. According to the "Denver Rocky Mountain News," Dee, whose real name is Michael Delaouglou, was taken into custody after he and bus driver David Smith tried to crash in the door of a Boeing 767 captain staying at the Holiday Inn. The two men then got into it with hotel security and the police when they arrived on the scene. The two were arrested, along with another woman, Patricia Laducer, on charges of disturbing the peace. Dee was released in time to rejoin Motörhead for the band's show that evening at the Ogden Theater, and Denver authorities have yet to determine what charges, if any, would be brought against the drummer. ZAKK WYLDE's instructional video, Hardcore Volume 1, is now available exclusively via Zakkwylde.com. The tape, designed for beginners through advanced guitarists, features Wylde demonstrating pentatonic and diatonic scales, blues-based rock licks and bends, improvisations and details about his guitar rig, and offering performances of some of his favorite solos: "Miracle Man," "Cry Me a River," and "The Beginning at Last." CREED had to cancel its Saturday night show at Vancouver's GM Place due to vocalist SCOTT STAPP's laryngitis, and Monday's performance in Seattle was rescheduled for June 21, though the Vancouver show will not be made up at this time. A new version of Creed's single "With Arms Wide Open," featuring a string section, is being made available free to anyone who already has the Human Clay CD (put the CD into your CD-ROM drive, go to www.creednet.com, and download the song). The new version will also be added to future pressings of the album.
