Preview Thin Lizzy online

You can preview clips of the new THIN LIZZY disc, One night Only, at http://www.electricbasement.com/listening_bar.htm. The disc was released in the US last week, and the European release is scheduled for next week. Electric Basement posted this earlier today: A guitar technician for QUEENSRYCHE died after a week of partying that began at the Experience Music Project. Thirty-five-year-old Timothy Paul Saunders, of Huntsville, Alabama, died early June 29th in the front yard of Queensryche guitarist Kelly Gray's home in Bothell. Although an autopsy was performed, cause of death cannot be determined until toxicology tests are completed in several weeks. Bothell police have ruled out foul play and said Saunders had no signs of trauma on his body. Saunders arrived in Seattle June 24th during the three-day grand opening of the Experience Music Project, a high-tech rock museum at the foot of the Space Needle. Following doctor's orders can be a real bitch; RANDY CASTILLO is going to sit out the entire first leg of the MÖTLEY CRÜE tour so he can recuperate from his operation. Samantha Maloney of HOLE will be filling in until he returns. Crue's latest disc, New Tattoo, is in stores now, and you can preview it in the REVIEWS section. The REB BEACH solo disc is not going to be released until next year. That is, according to On The Rocks. Reb will finish up with his commitment to DOKKEN first. CORROSION OF CONFORMITY will release America's Volume Dealers in the fall. They're in the studio with producer Jon Custer right now recording it. ROB HALFORD will prepare for his opening stint with IRON MAIDEN and QUEENSRYCHE by playing some club gigs in the Western United States. You can catch him at: The Mason Jar - Phoenix, Arizona on July 19 Launchpad - Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 20 Diamond Ballroom - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 22 Royal Groove - Lincoln, Nebraska on July 23 Ranch Bowl - Omaha, Nebraska on July 25 NELSON, who have had several international releases since their disappearance from U.S. shores, will be releasing an album of their father's hits later this year. Their father incidentally, was 50s teen idol, Ricky Nelson. POISON will head to Puerto Rico on September 8th after they play Florida. They'll also be heading to Panama on Spet. 15th, and Costa Rica on Sept. 17th. C.C. DeVille will be appearing on tonight's episode of VH1's Rock 'n' Roll Jeopardy. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE will play some warm-up dates at the Fillmore in San Fransisco before embarking on a tour with THE BEASTE BOYS. They will also play a benefit show at The Roxy in Los Angeles on July 23rd. Profits from the show will go to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Tickets are available through radio station KROQ.
