Jester signs with Escape Music

Escape Music has signed New Jersey-based JESTER, and will be releasing Digitalia on August 7. The disc will be released as a double disc; Tales from the Boogieman, their first disc, will be included. As mentioned previously, RORSCHACH TEST, SNAKE RIVER CONSPIRACY, BILE, and N17 will be taking part in The "Bush and Gore 2000" tour. Stay tuned for more exclusives with James from Rorschach Test. ATELLO will be opening for GILBY CLARKE at The Voodo Lounge on Saturday, July 29th. Tickets are available from all band members for $12 or at the door the night of the show. Doors will open at 8, and they should be hitting the stage at about 9:00 or so. Two new songs will be in the set: "Meltdown" & "Too Bad To Be Good". Be sure to check out www.Atello.com for more information. The Tattoo The Earth show at Giants Stadium was a mild success according to reports we've been getting. Evidently, the show was not sold out...not by a long shot. This is speculation, of course, but perhaps METALLICA shouldn't go naming fans in lawsuits if they'd like to continue selling tickets. When was the last time there were tickets available for a Metallica show the night of the show? Escape Music will be releasing a FOREIGNER tribute album (to sit on the shelves with all of the other tribute discs). The track listing is as follows: 1-Long Way From Home 2-I Don't Want To Live Without You 3-Hot Blooded 4-Head Games 5-Urgent 6-Double Vision 7-That Was Yesterday 8-Dirty White Boy 9-Feels Like The First Time 10-Rev On The Red Line 11-Prisoner Of Love 12-Waiting For A Girl Like You You can read more about it at escape-music.com for more information. ROB ZOMBIE is designing another haunted house maze for this year's installment of Halloween Horror Nights (IV) at Universal Studios Hollywood, based on his upcoming movie The House of 1000 Corpses, his feature film directing and screenwriting debut. The maze will open, appropriately, on Friday October 13 and will continue on October 14, 20, 21, 27, 28, 29 and 31. The maze will involve a series of rooms depicting scenes from the movie. "You can actually step inside the movie and live the horror first hand," says Zombie. "It promises to be a terrifying experience in Halloween madness." Tickets will be available starting July 31 at Universal Studios Hollywood, Spencer Gifts, via Ticketmaster, and at www.universalstudios.com. THE BLACK CROWES and JIMMY PAGE will kickoff the next leg of their summer tour with a spot on The Tonight Show on August 14.
