FATES WARNING's new disc Disconnected features a much heavier tone, which can be attributed to the fact that singer RAY ALDER recently toured with ENGINE, an outfit that Alder has not left, but will place on the back burner while he tours with Fates Warning. ENGINE will take part in the Wacken Festival in Germany on August 6, and may schedule a show in L.A. between then and the FW tour. JOEY VERA, who appears on both bands' releases, will be aboard for the tour once ARMORED SAINT completes its latest run of shows, but KEVIN MOORE, who plays keyboards on Disconnected, will not.
