MANSON HIT WITH INDECENCY CHARGE IN ITALY
Twice this week, MARILYN MANSON was slapped with indecency charges by Italian authorities for his controversial stage clothing.
Officials there hit the shock rocker with two public indecency charges this week, both involving his onstage getups, according to an Interscope Records spokesperson.
About 20 police officers surrounded and briefly detained Manson on Monday night after his namesake band finished performing at the Palaghiaccio in Rome, the 10th stop on the European leg of the Guns, God and Government world tour. No court date had been set at press time.
The following night at Pala Malaguti in Bologna, Italy, authorities charged Manson with a separate count of public indecency stemming from a June 20, 1999, performance at the Imola Heineken Jammin' Festival in Imola, Italy.
