CHRIS CORNELL IS NOT JOINING RAGE

At the Grammy Awards on Wednesday, where RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE picked up an award for Best Rock Song ("Guerilla Radio"), guitarist TOM MORELLO confirmed that vocalist CHRIS CORNELL had rehearsed with the band, and in fact collaborated with Rage on two new songs, but insisted that ex-SOUNDGARDEN frontman Cornell was not the band's new singer. At this moment, Zack De La Rocha's slot has yet to be filled.
