DIAMOND DAVE'S CRAPPY MESSAGE

This space is usually used to report factual information and happenings in the music bidness, but I wanted to rant for just a second about the three minutes of my life that I am never going to get back because I ventured over to www.davidleeroth.com to hear what I was told (in a mass-Emailing, no less) would be 'Dave's response to the rumors'.... By now, everyone has heard something to the effect of David Lee Roth and VAN HALEN joining up for a reunion album and a tour. Being of sound mind and body, I assumed this would be a valid response to said rumor. Shit, was I wrong!... Sure, there was a message from Dave himself, but it was pointless... Not only did he NOT comment on the status of Van Halen, but he proceeded, for a good three minutes or so, to babble in true Dave-stoned-or-drunk-out-of-his-Goddamn-mind fashion about absolutely nothing. Basically it was a giant plug for his website. Kiss my big white hairy ass, Dave. Go sing some showtunes in Vegas.
