BLACK CROWES, OFFSPRING, NIGHT RANGER TO PLAY ATLANTA MUSIC MIDTOWN

THE BLACK CROWES, THE CULT, THE OFFSPRING, JERRY CANTRELL, BLUE OYSTER CULT, CHEAP TRICK and NIGHT RANGER will be among the bands playing this year's Atlanta Music Midtown Festival, which will run from May 4-6 on 11 stages. The Black Crowes, whose Lions CD will be out May 15, plan to tape and make available for downloading all the upcoming shows on its tour for fans who purchase the CD. A special code will give buyers access to the live performances. Word has it that The Cult, whose to-be-named CD will be out June 5, will team up with Monster Magnet and Buckcherry for a summer tour.
