KOTTONMOUTH KINGS AND CYPRESS HILL CELEBRATE 420

KOTTONMOUTH KINGS AND CYPRESS HILL CELEBRATE MARIJUANA HOLIDAY APRIL 20th, 2005, WITH SMOKERS WORDWIDE

Stoners everywhere are preparing to light up their pipes for the upcoming impending marijuana holiday April 20th, 2005.

The holiday celebrated ever year by smokers worldwide was established on the 4th month, 20th day of every year, after the police code 4:20 - used to indicate marijuana smoking in progress.

Joining the festivities this year are Pro-marijuana bands the Kottonmouth Kings and Cypress Hill , who have joined forces to record the song "Put the Pipe Down" for release on the impending stoner holiday. Kottonmouth King's frontman Brad Xaxier, also known as "Daddy X", will be appearing on radio stations across the nation celebrating the holiday and to premiere the song for smokers everywhere.

"This song teams the two biggest pro-marijuana bands on the planet," says Kottonmouth Kings' frontman Brad Xavier. "We're happy to be a part of this year's 4/20 holiday festivities and hope that this song can give people a reason to light up their pipes in unison."

The song, taken from the Kottonmouth Kings’ upcoming self-titled album, will be the band's seventh studio release. Established in 1994, The Kottonmouth Kings have gone on to sell more than 1 million albums in their decade plus career. The band's last release, Fire It Up, debuted at #42 on the Billboard Top 200 selling upwards of 100,000 copies in the US alone.

The Kottonmouth Kings are at the epicenter of a constantly growing movement - a subculture that brings thousands of fans from all walks of life and bonds them through the incredible power of music. With a message of peace, love, unity, and the decriminalization of marijuana, the Kottonmouth Kings have been longtime supporters of the plant.

"Why is it that a plant made by the creator is illegal, yet guns and bombs manufactured by man are legal?" says Brad X from his California home. "We're just trying to raise awareness about marijuana and all the benefits it brings with it. [List some benefits}"
