METALLICA WINS GRAMMY FOR 'BEST METAL PERFORMANCE'

METALLICA won the Grammy award for best metal performance for
St. Anger last night at the 46th Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It was the band's seventh Grammy award.
Also, according to a post on the band's
official website, Metallica will be honored with the 2004 Governors Award for creative excellence and outstanding achievement by the San Francisco Chapter of the Recording Academy.
