PERFECT SELF
Up from the ashes of LIFE OF AGONY, and STUCK MOJO, rises a hybrid group of musicians who will attempt to kick our teeth down our throats with their debut release Perfect Self. The first single, "Pain", is already tearing up rock radio, and making a nice little mark for guys who just weren't getting a lot of airplay in their older bands. To be honest, "Pain" sounds very SEVENDUST, and probably would have worked as a single for Sevendust had it been offered to them.
The band consists of bassist Corey Lowery, brother of Sevendust's Clint Lowery, and former bassist for Stuck Mojo... Joey Z and Dan Richardson, who paid their dues with the now defunct Life Of Agony....and frontman Erik, who sounds like he's channeling Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust. While all of these former associations and connections may draw some to Stereomud, this band will stand on its own just fine. Powerful hooks, passionate vocals and superb musicianship will carry these guys very far.
