'THE MONKEY SONG' by Robin and Crystal Bernard

Remember Crystal Bernard from WINGS? Well, she had quite a career in the Christian music department going when she was younger apparently, because check out this anti-evolution song. Listen as they sing "I'm No Kin To the Monkey"... make your own decisions. Robin is her sister, and they sang the song together. It's from the 1972 LP "Dr. Jerry Falwell: Feudin' Fussin' & Frettin' (Fret Not)"

After hearing this song for the first time, I found myself humming it way too damned often. Perhaps there's some sort of subliminal message hidden in this incredibly stupid ditty. It's going to take an ice-pick through an eyeball to make it stop. I'm gonna' wind up in some looney bin screaming: "I hate this place, nothing works here, I hate this place, I'm no kin to the monkey nonono The monkey's no kin to me yeeyeeyeah, I've been here 7 years, nonono. Give some psychoactive drugs to meee yeeyeeyeah" This song is just too fucking catchy. Help! 4232
