37 year-old Wendy Knowlton Cook is accused of having sex with men for money with her 5-year-old daughter and 2-month-old son in the back seat of the car. The police report indicates Cook was even willing to sell her kids for drug money. Cook was arrested around 7:15 a.m. Monday at Swan and State streets in Schenectady, New York after police say she offered sex to an undercover officer.
Police say she went on a joy ride around Schenectady -- smoking crack and snorting cocaine. They say she even inhaled lines off her infant son while breastfeeding.
Police say her daughter was awake some of the time. Psychologist Dr. Randy Cale says we shouldn't assume the worst about what she may have seen.
