oblivious australian truck driver pushes car 100 meters

March 21, 2008 - A truck driver, oblivious to the traffic situation ahead of him, plowed into a car, pushing it down the road over 100 meters. The dramatic incident happened overnight in Homebush West, western Sydney. Police had stopped at a minor traffic incident involving two cars and a truck at Centenary Drive Northbound, just after the Hume Hwy overpass, around 9.30pm. A witness who was filming the incident Gordon McComiskie from Creative FX explained: "The first car was changing a tire in the center lane. It was quiet a dangerous position. Footage shows the truck come past, pursued by the frantic officers on foot - and then reveals the car and its shocked occupant. It is believed there were no serious injuries. Police are investigating.
