March 28, 2008 - Early Thursday morning a surveillance video from a nearby business captured images of a man assaulting a woman on the sidewalk. The vicious assault was caught on surveillance video in the 600 block of West Hastings Street in Vancouver.
A passerby called police on Friday morning after seeing a pool of blood on the sidewalk.
Police called for the victim or anyone with information to come forward.
Randolph Brown, a 51-year-old Vancouver man, was charged late Friday afternoon with assault on his girlfriend, who is also from Vancouver.
