June 12, 2008 - Shocking video emerged of a young thug setting upon a 62-year-old Catholic School teacher in Brooklyn, pummeling and knocking her down through the school's gate before wrestling her purse away and stealing her car.
In the surveillance footage, the punk is seen running up and pouncing on Patricia McGowan at the gate of the Good Shepherd School in Sheepshead Bay around 6:40 a.m. as she arrived for work.
The unknown goon first knocked her through the gate - which is capped with a cross - and begins hurling punches as she falls to the ground.
McGowan then struggled with the man for a few seconds as he tried to rip her purse from her hands. He ultimately managed to get the bag from her and fled, leaving her - dazed - sitting on the ground.
