caught on video: mbta bus collides with car in massachusetts
October 12, 2009 - A head-on crash between an MBTA bus and a car injured the driver of the car and one bus passenger. The crash was reported at 4:39 p.m. and took place on North Franklin Street in the area of Sunset Avenue in Holbrook, Massachusetts. MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo described it as a “minor accident” that occurred when a car crossed the center line and struck the bus. One person on the bus was treated for a minor injury. It was unknown if the driver’s injuries were serious. The injured people were taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton and South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA.
