WINDS OF PLAGUE Acrimoniously Parts Ways With Drummer; Remains On "Thrash and Burn" Tour

WINDS OF PLAGUE are currently decimating the weak across North America
as part of the "Thrash and Burn" festival that also features Darkest
Hour, Parkway Drive, Misery Signals, Stick To Your Guns, Arsis, Abigail
Williams, Arsonists Get All The Girls and After The Burial so feel free
to hit www.myspace.com/thrashandburntour or
www.myspace.com/windsofplague to view their complete tour routing.

The group just acrimoniously parted ways with Jeff Tenny (drums) and
will remain on the "Trash and Burn" tour as drummers from other bands on
the tour lend them a helping hand. Johnny (vocals) checks in with his
thoughts on the situation: "WINDS OF PLAGUE as individuals have been hit
very hard recently by a very selfish act committed by our long-time
drummer, Jeff Tenney. We are disgusted and very disappointed in his
actions. However, we as a band are not going to let this slow us down. A
few drummers from the tour have stepped up and are helping us finish the
remainder of the 'Thrash and Burn' run. We are currently on the search
for a new drummer."

WINDS OF PLAGUE recently stirred up some controversy as their
much-anticipated new video for the track "The Impaler" was rejected by
MTV for it's supposed "graphic language and questionable content." Click
on the link below to check it out now.

WINDS OF PLAGUE is currently one of the hottest bands in the genre,
which is further cemented by the fact that they were just hand-picked by
the legendary Glenn Danzig for his 20th anniversary tour this fall. The
massive North American trek, dubbed the "Blackest of The Black," kicks
off in October and also features Dimmu Borgir, Moonspell and
Skeletonwitch. Be sure to visit their MySpace to view all dates.
