IT'S A MONTH and A HALF SINCE THE OPIE AND ANTHONY SHOW CANCELLATION...

SO WHAT HAPPENS NOW??

We have NO idea. None. Zilch. Zero. Nada. Nil.

What we DO know is this...In the short time since the Opie and Anthony show was cancelled:

  • FOUR of the stations carrying the O&A show have flipped formats, eliminated, or reduced talk shows significantly from their rosters.(So far, the list of cities this applies to inludes Albany, Columbus, Sacramento, and to a large extent, Boston...incidentally, WBCN in Boston is looking for a midday jock, and the station is engaging in PAID auditions for anyone interested.   • We don't know what's going to happen to the O&A show, or when they'll be back, or where they'll wind up. One thing is for sure: The guys and the show are TOO funny not to come back somewhere...sometime.


  • The support from the fans is greatly appreciated, and the guys hope that the fans continue to support them during this little "hiatus" (for lack of a more eloquent term).


    • Sorry that wasn't mnore of a revealing update, but we're just telling you what we know, and we're trying not to stoke the rumor flames too much.
