Rick Delgado, who served as Executive Producer for the Opie & Anthony Show, has joined Preston Elliot & Steve Morrison’s morning show on Radio One Modern Rock WPLY/Philadelphia. Besides serving as Executive Producer on the Y100 program, Delgado will maintain an on-air role on the show.
Delgado had recently sat in with the duo during a two-week stint in July. "Rick is the man," commented Elliot. "We fell into a groove with him immediately. Having him as a member of the team can only mean bigger and better things for the Preston & Steve show".

Former OPIE AND ANTHONY Producer RICK DELGADO joins RADIO ONE Alternative WPLY (Y100)/PHILADELPHIA as Executive Producer of the PRESTON & STEVE SHOW. DELGADO will also maintain an on-air role on the show. He did a two-week on-air stint on the morning show back in JULY and there was great chemistry with PRESTON & STEVE.
RADIO ONE/PHILADELPHIA VP/GM LYNN BRUDER adds, "It's hard to find talent like this. RICK's vast experience and knowledge in producing and writing for shows like OPIE AND ANTHONY, will really enhance an already entertaining show."
DELGADO has also agreed to terms with REVILLE ENTERTAINMENT (THE RESTAURANT and COUPLING/NBC) for the sale of his first TV sitcom idea "There Goes the Neighborhood."
