FRANKIE BANALI TO PLAY WITH KEVIN DuBROW IN FLORIDA AND NYC

According to Bravewords, QUIET RIOT bandmates Kevin DuBrow and Frankie Banali will be performing together in at the Hard Rock Cafe Orlando, FL on June 24th and at the Crobar in New York City on June 28th as part of his summer tour to promote Kevin's solo disc, In For The Kill. DuBrow had previously been using former WARRANT frontman Jani Lane's backing band on tour, but that arrangement wasn't working out too well.

Banali issued the following statement on his involvement:
"Kevin and I have managed to continue our relationship as friends away from Quiet Riot. I'm glad he's out on the road promoting his new solo record and doing dates. When he asked if I would be available to perform at these two dates along with Chuck Wright and Billy Morris, I was available and accepted to have some musical fun. Chuck is a great bass player and Billy is very talented and I've always enjoyed his company. I know that Kevin had some issues recently with some of the musicians he's been working with. I'm sure the rumor mill will be hard at work with some sort of Quiet Riot reunion talk, but that is simply not the case. At best you might be able to call it 'Half a Quiet Riot' as coined by Kevin, but this is nothing more than a group of like minded musicians getting together for a few shows to enjoy music and all that Orlando and Manhattan has to offer. This is no "Quiet Riot" and will not be booked or billed as such for all the obvious reasons. No more and no less. Kevin has his own group of musicians that he regularly tours with and I don't see that changing in the foreseeable future. Chuck is busy with House of Lords who recently released a new CD and Billy continues to tour with Jani Lane and I am busy doing sessions in LA. No Quiet Riot reunion here."
