ASSAULT ON THE MEDIA CONTEST - PHOTOS AND VIDEO ONLINE - NEW LEADER

Last night, in Salem, Massachusetts, WHDH-TV reporter Dan Hausle was doing a report and was the unknowing participant in the latest entry in our Assault On The Media contest.

A young meaty-bosomed fella named Steven ran up behind Dan with WOW stickers stuck to his chest, and executed a flawless Assault on The Media.

After we let you all vote, it was decided that STEVEN IS NOW IN THE LEAD!

and...as always...here are the rules for Assaulting the Media:

  • DO NOT TOUCH THE REPORTER(S) - You're trying to promote a radio show, not injure somebody. You can be a pest without touching the guy/girl
  • MAKE SURE THE CAMERA IS ON AND THE SHOT IS LIVE - You're just wasting your time if you're jumping around in front of a camera that isn't broadcasting.
  • NO CURSING - You can yell 'Opie and Anthony' as much as you want... please don't yell profanities or hold up signs with profanities on them. It's not going to impress anyone. You can hold up as many WOW signs/stickers, O&A signs as you want...and you can be a pest without cursing
  • Overall, just use common sense. Don't pick fights with producers, and don't get nasty with anyone. Just be a pest, because so many of you are SO good at just that. ...and if you're one of those 'special' folks who lacks common sense, well you should sit this out, and we'll send someone over to your place with some paste for you to eat.


    • Also...please, for the love of GOD... MAKE SURE YOU HAVE VIDEOTAPE OR A TIVO RECORDING THE EVENT... We're not going to tape it for you. You must provide us with clean video (and audio, if there is any) and either E-MAIL IT TO US or Snail-Mail it to the following address:
