wingman takes out fighter pilot
We're not Navy pilots, but it LOOKS like the wingman releases some piece of artillery while the plane is on its way DOWN...and he takes out his buddy...again, we have no idea...but it doesn't look fun.

Inbred, This film looks very funny. If they were testing a new bomb release device why was the A-4 chase plane so close to the FA-18 drop plane when he was on the range dropping even dummy ordnance. Also, dummy bombs still would drop away from the FA-18, even if the release mechanism was faulty. They are just as heavy as the live ordnance and have the same aerodynamic characteristics as live stuff to avoid this kind of accident. I think this is doctored footage of an A-4 getting hit and static footage of an FA-18 on top of it. Notice how the FA-18 doesn't move AT ALL, even after the A-4's wing explodes in flame and begins to go out of control. If you look REAL close to the belly of the A-4 BEFORE the so called "bomb" drops from the FA-18, you can see what appears to be fire or maybe gun hits. This clip was in my opinion doctored. 3355
