After 30 Years, the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant Cooling Tower in Oregon is loaded with explosives and demolished. Allegedly, the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant was the inspiration for the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Homer Simpson's workplace on The Simpsons, however the creator Matt Groening, who lived only a few minutes away in Portland, Oregon, denies this.
