On Jan. 20, 2006, police said Trent Marion, 38, stole some meat from a West Louisville Kroger Grocery Store, scuffled with police officers, then led them on a two-state, high speed chase. Police initially thought Marion was armed, but they later said Marion didn't have a gun.
The dashcam video shows Corydon City Police officers and Harrison County Sheriff's deputies pursuing Marion westbound on Interstate 64 for several miles.

The video shows police deploying spike sticks to disable the SUV. It then shows Marion pulling onto the median to apparently surrender.
That's when the dashcam video shows several officers, guns drawn, firing at the SUV from all angles.
Marion's attorneys claim officers fired as many as 20 shots.
When the gunfire stopped, Marion's attorneys said he had lost an eye and had several broken bones.
A Harrison County Grand Jury declined to indict the officers involved for any wrong-doing, but Marion's attorneys have filed a lawsuit against several agencies, including the Corydon Police Department and Harrison County Sheriff's department, alleging excessive use of force.
