Situated a few miles outside the town of Dahab on the Sinai Peninsular, The Blue Hole is a natural coral feature and considered to be a world class diving site. It is also the site that has seen the deaths of over 100 divers - more than any other diving stie. Essentially The Blue Hole is a small coral lagoon which starts near the surface and drops down to a stunning arch which leads out to the main reef wall. At its deepest part, the Blue Hole reaches over 120m. This video shows what happened to an inexperienced diver who attempted the dive alone with only one tank of air, when the recommended number is two.
