sperm whale swims by sub sea oil rig in the gulf of mexico
Appin Scientific obtained this video of a subsea oil rig being worked on in an underwater canyon in the Gulf of Mexico...when suddenly a massive sperm whale swims by. Various markings can be seen clearly on the animal including the tail flukes. Talk about creepy. The footage was taken at 900m from an ROV working in the Gulf of Mexico.
