October 7, 2007 - The Bathurst 1000, an event staged on a stretch of public road about 2 1/2 hours from Sydney, Australia, was interrupted when a brave kangaroo ran onto the track and miraculously survived. Apparently, in Australia this is on par with a dog or a squirrel running across a football field in the U.S. But we silly Americans are impressed with this..
