dramatic police chase with stolen suv - caught on tape
October 31, 2007 - The chase up I-85 North in Coweta County took an unexpected turn when a 2001 Ford Explorer plowed into a construction zone sending workers jumping for their lives. Officials said the stolen SUV flipped five times. The chase began at Lanier Used Cars in Newnan on October 31. Police said 19-year-old Kendrick Rashand Martin and his 16-year-old accomplice asked to test drive the Explorer. When they got to a rural area of the city, they forced the salesman out of the SUV at gunpoint, according to authorities.
