fred thompson refuses 'hand shows' at iowa republican debate
December 12, 2007 - During the Iowa Republican debate in Johnston, Iowa, Fred Thompson resisted when the moderator asked for a show of hands on how many candidates believe global climate change was a serious threat, saying he wanted to be able to explain his answer. "You want a show of hands. I'm not giving it to you," Thompson said.
