caught on tape: suspect drags south ogden police officer

A South Ogden police officer is recovering after being dragged by a car driven by a wanted criminal on Sunday, December 30th. Police say Sergeant Trent Olsen approached a wanted man sitting in a car on Sunday; little did he know he'd be dragged more than sixty feet.
The man was a known parole fugitive considered very dangerous and police had been looking for this guy for a while.
Sgt. Olsen spotted Christopher Calton in a fast food drive through lane. Olsen approached the car. Olsen's police car dash board camera caught the encounter on tape.
