Chris Parent, a 51 year-old police officer from Bellevue, Nebraska, was fired after 25 years on the job after failing to perform on a police training course. Parent's firing stems from his poor performance during an August 28, 2007 combat shooting exercise, which prompted officers to report him to the command staff.
