marriage proposal goes poorly at basketball game
February 14th, 2008 - his young man thought it' be a swell idea to do a marriage proposal during the Sacramento Kings-Houston Rockets game on Valentine's Day, so between the 1st and 2nd quarter this guy asked his girlfriend to marry him. They blindfolded her and she was supposed to be looking for an autographed basketball on the court but instead he was at midcourt on one knee. The answer was not what he expected. According to a Rockets spokesperson, the marriage proposal was, in fact, a skit that was staged by the team.
