February 28, 2008 - A cook at a Texas Roadhouse in West Bend, Wisconsin faces felony charges and three and a half years in prison after a customer told police that the steak he'd gotten from the restaurant was filled with human hair.
Prosecutors said the chef was taking revenge against a customer who complained his steak was overcooked.
When confronted, investigators said 24-year-old Ryan Kropp confessed and said he was mad because he figured the customer was just trying to get free stuff. A co-worker of Kropp's told police that Kropp said it was his own hair in the steak. Kropp was fired from the restaurant.
