michigan officer struck by out of control car
May 17, 2008 - Harper Woods police officer Jason Sakowski responded to a suspected drunk-driving accident on Interstate 94. While speaking with three witnesses on the shoulder of the highway, an out-of-control vehicle came directly toward the group, and the officer was able to push three people out of the way. One person on scene was a nurse and was able to help him until he was rushed to the hospital.
