san fancisco news anchor announces death of co-anchor
April 2007 - Ken Bastida has been the news anchor on KPIX-TV, Channel 5 in San Fransisco since 1990, so you'd think he'd know how to properly use pauses in his news stories. Apparently not. A strategically placed comma or semi-colon would have made all the difference in his opening lines here, in which it sounds like he's announcing the death of his co-anchor, Dana King.
