June 17, 2008 - Joan Rivers' salty tongue got her booted from the British Daytime talk show 'Loose Women' in the middle of its live broadcast.
Rivers used two expletives while talking about Russell Crowe as a guest host on the ITV1 show "Loose Women." She was asked to leave during a commercial break.
Rivers, 75, stunned the all-female Loose Women presenting team of Jackie Brambles, Linda Bellingham, Jane McDonald and Carol McGiffin when she described Hollywood actor Russell Crowe as a "fucking shit".
The veteran comedian said it was the first time she had ever been ejected from a TV show and that she only swore because she thought the program had a time delay on it.
Then she cracked wise, saying the incident reminded her of her wedding night — because she was asked to leave in the middle of that, too.
