March 24, 2009 - NIkki Allen, senior marketing manager for the AVP Pro volleyball tour, was supposed to be talking about beach volleyball at Sharky's in Panama City Beach in Florida.. But she passed out instead.
Wayne Gentry, a reporter for WMBB News13, explained that "She's fine. ... We did a special spot" later on. She had just flown in from California, arriving at 4:30 a.m. for the segment, which was scheduled to air live between 6 and 6:30 a.m. Dan Rowe from the TDC was also present for the segment.
You really have to love the on-camera, awkward banter between the news anchors.
