piper pa-23 apache overruns runway at st. barths
The pilot of this Piper Aztec came in way too fast during his approach into St. Barths airport, one of the smallest in the world, and notorious airport for being situated directly in front of a rather steep hill. This pilot landed 3/4 down the runway and had to apply heavy breaking. He was not able to stop in time and ploughed his very nice looking twin egine plane into the sand.
