June 7, 2009 - POISON frontman Bret Michaels joined the cast of "Rock of Ages" on stage at the 2009 Tony Awards for the night's extended opening number, and at the end of the band's performance of "Nothin' But a Good Time", Michaels got smacked on the head by a descending set piece.
Tonys spokesperson Christina Stejskal told the Associated Press that Michaels "missed his mark," but did not elaborate on whether he was injured or not.
Host Neil Patrick Harris joked about the accident immediately following the opening number.
