July 7, 2007 - A tour helicopter owned by owned by Liberty Helicopters crashed into the Hudson River between Manhattan and New Jersey, carrying seven passengers. The pilot and seven passengers were rescued from the waters between Manhattan and the New Jersey shore with no major injuries shortly after the crash took place at about 4:30 p.m
