DAYBREAKERS is a modern day vampire thriller set in the year 2019, in which a plague has transformed most every human into vampires. Faced with a dwindling blood supply, the fractured dominant race plots their survival; meanwhile, a researcher works with a covert band of vamps on a way to save humankind. Ethan Hawke stars as the scientist seeking to save humanity. Willem Dafoe appears as a crossbow-crarrying hunter, and Sam Neill as the villain bloodsucker. The film opens January 8, 2010.
