I must say that they are many things that make this country of ours great but let me address the fact that people just do not take pride in their job any longer. What happened to people who will go beyond the course of normal action to aid you when there are problems? When did the day end before your shift was over? When does the worker's comfort suoercede the client/purchaser?
I do know that things happen and there used to be a day that many would aid those in distress, and i am too guoilty of it sometimes. But , in my position I do what I can every day.
I cannot answer these questions but I wil say that besides losing our First Ammendment rights, the dumbing down of America and the non competitive nature of our kids, this is another sign of problems brewing in this country.
