First off I don't get close with alot of people. I have a buddy that I met in the Army named Dumb WV Redneck. I met this guy over ten years ago now. We become brothers. Like peas in a pod. NO HOMO. The good times and the bad. We did it all. Hoo Hoo. I chose my last duty station in the Army to be able to hang with him. I tragically lost my dad. He got out of the Army. Got married. Got divorced again. I got out of the Army, moved up north to Boston. Went to school, got a job, got laid off, went on unemployement. FOR A YEAR. I flew him up to be my best man in my wedding. He hit it off with my wifes best friend, they fucked. He went home. She cried. Times goes by. My wife flies him up for my 30th birthday present. We hang out, no love lost. A year goes by, I have a lil gurl. Year 2 goes by my daughter is 1. 2 1/2 years later nothing. I hear from his other BEST friend back home he is now a cop, with an older lady with kids..........Anyway I still love this guy but it seems I am doing all the work. What the fuck. Do I reach out and tell him how I feel, or feel bad that I had not really tried to contact him? Forget and put it behind us?
