SURVIVAL OF THE SICKEST
Hoo boy! I wuz kinda excited when the boss man gimme his copy o' this new SALIVA singul, cuz I wuz always a fan o' them dudes. The first CD,
Every Six Seconds had a lot o' rappin' in it... me and the bossman liked that lots. The second disc,
Back Into Your System, wuzn't so much rappin' but it had that song that Nikki Sixx wrote, "Rest In Pieces"... NOW, with "Survival Of The Sickest", Josey Scott is coppin' MARILYN MANSON riffage. Don't tell me this main riff don't sound like "The Fight Song"... We ain't doin' rap no more, that's fo' shore, lemme tells ya. This is straight up rock n' rollin' from the southern Saliva dudes. The only thing is I dunno if it's gonna sit too good with the kids today, ya know. Remember when JACKYL had that "Lumberjack Song" way back...then everything they did after wuz just straight up rock? They never really did much after the first big ka-sploosh...
Nice knowin' ya, Saliva. Let's go drinkin'!
