UNHOLY TERROR

It's funny; every WASP song I have ever been able to review sounds like Blackie Lawless is presiding over an arena of angry derelicts, who are just chomping at the bit, waiting to beat the shit out of each other. Put simply. WASP is fighting music. Music that makes you want to knock someone's teeth down their throat..and there ain't a Goddamn thing wrong with that. The first track on Unholy Terror, 'Let It Roar', is a textbook WASP anthem. It kicks off with electric guitar, and Stet Howland's double-kick drum knock you over immediately thereafter. Throughout this disc, Lawless tackles what he calls hypocrisy in religion, politics, and society, because as he sees it, many of us are brought up with a set of values that the rest of the world isn't paying much attention to in the year 2001.
