SCREAM AS NEEDED
For an album titled
Scream As Needed, I was expecting more screaming and less snoring. They sound like everything else out there, I don’t think I really need to elaborate. If you live in the NY/NJ area, go turn on K-rock or some other modern rock radio station, and listen to each song they play for an hour, and just pick apart bits and pieces and glue them together and you’ll have a pretty good idea what these guys sound like. I’m not going any further, I’ve sat through more than a half hour of this album already, there’s 3 more songs left and nothing seems promising that those last 3 might actually impress me.
(Just a side note - I don't think it's as awful as Rob is making it out to be. Sure, there's no Zakk Wylde-ish soloing going on...but I wouldn't condemn it totally. I'm not crazy about the production, but the songwriting isn't bad at all. Give these guys some time, they'll wind up with a hit or two. However, this is not my review, it's Rob's...so his rating of '2' will stick.- SC)
