TALES FROM THE CRACK
I am once again amazed at the quality product coming out of
Evil Angel lately. The first big production I checked out from them was
The Fashionistas, directed by Buttman himself, John Stagliano. In a move that raises the bar (in my opinion) again, Evil Angel has released
Tales From the Crack, directed by
John Howard and Scott Phillips.
From the first opening logos, which are inspired by the animated Marvel Comics flipping sequence (just check out
Spider-Man on DVD... you'll see what I mean),
Tales From the Crack presents porn with a comic book aesthetic. With this 2 disc set, Buttman Comics presents four vignettes:
The Vampire Hunter
The Doctor
The Biker Bar
The Cowgirls
The Biker Slut
Obviously, the acting isn't going to win anyone an Academy Award, but it's not supposed to. Each of the four vignettes is separated by comic book panels, and this is the doing of Howard, who created
Horny Biker Sluts, an underground comic. 'The Vampire Hunter' features Evan Stone, who goes at it with
Jayna Oso and
Haley Paige with a crucifix-shaped dildo.
In 'The Doctor',
Alicia Rhodes,
Mason Storm and
Shayna Knight perform in one of the best nurse scenes I have ever seen...and I watch a ton of porn... pathetic as that may seem, I still know how to spot well-performed and well-filmed smut.
Of course, what would this film be without a colossal anal scene from
Belladonna, who appears as 'The Biker Slut'...and takes a pool cue in her perfectly round hiney.
Tales From the Crack had BETTER win some awards, that's all I have to say.
